Interview means a face to face meeting for assessing the qualities of a candidate. Interview derived from the fench word entrevoir, which means glimpse. So, the purpose of interview is to ascertain the opinions or thoughts of the candidates and to check the qualities the candidates have possess.
Purpose of an interview
Interview is nothing but a successful meeting between a interviewee and interviewer. If the meeting couldn’t able to success, then it will not be beneficial for both the parties. A successful interview brings the mutual understanding between the interviewer and interviewee, which will be benefits for the organization.
In an interview only the interviewer doesn’t ask question to the interviewee but vice versa. If both parties don’t feel comfortable to ask questions each other then interview can’t be successes. Interview is an occasion where both parties should get the opportunity for questioning and answering.
